Kaela received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. During her time at the University of Toronto she was highly engaged in the Department of Physical Therapy through multiple roles on committees, associations and intramural athletics. Prior to Toronto, Kaela completed a Bachelors of Science with specialization in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa.
Surrounded by three brothers, Kaela grew up playing multiple competitive sports including hockey, field hockey, soccer and lacrosse. She has experience coaching and serving as an athletic trainer for both hockey and lacrosse teams. She continues to live an active lifestyle through running, hiking, kayaking, playing hockey and exploring the many wonderful countries and cultures around the world.
Kaela has always enjoyed working with people to improve their quality of life and function. She has a keen interest in manual therapy, sport physiotherapy, and neurological rehabilitation following concussion, brain injury and stroke. After enjoying many years in bigger cities, Kaela is thrilled to be back in the local community to provide physiotherapy services to those hoping to get back on track.
