Hand & Upper Limb Treatment

Physiotherapist Julie Howson-Chang has focused her training on the hand and upper extremity.  She has developed specific skills to provide treatment and splinting for a wide range of hand and upper extremity conditions, including acute post-op procedures or complex traumatic conditions.

Julie’s experience includes 17 years practicing in the Hand Therapy program at Stratford General Hospital, covering clinics for 2 plastic hand surgeons, as well as orthopaedic surgeons, family physicians, and transferred patients from London’s Roth McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Clinic.

She has attended courses and conferences in Chicago, Philadelphia, Vancouver, and locally in Ontario. Julie passed the Certified Hand Therapist exam in 1998.
