In-Home Physiotherapy

Woolwich Physiotherapy is happy to provide community physiotherapy services for individuals in the comfort of their own home. These services may be beneficial for patients with the following accommodations:

• Individuals who do not have access to a vehicle or cannot drive
• Individuals who do not have the ability to leave their home for appointments
• Individuals recovering from a total joint replacement that cannot get themselves to the clinic easily
• Individuals recovering from long hospital stays that are de-conditioned or have difficulty with their mobility, including walking, managing stairs, getting in/out of bed etc.
• Individuals recovering from stroke or other neurological injuries that have significant deficits

When treating patients in their homes, the physiotherapist will bring as much equipment and supplies to your home as they deem appropriate. In-home physiotherapy is a great and very successful option for those individuals that require more education, guidance, and strengthening based treatment as opposed to more hands-on manual therapy.

Woolwich Physiotherapy is currently able to provide in-home physiotherapy services to individuals in Elmira, St. Jacobs, West Montrose, Floradale, Wallenstein, St. Clements, Linwood, North Waterloo, Alma, Inverhaugh, Elora, Salem, and Fergus.
